# Adding multiple links

If you want to add several backlinks at once without using a CSV file, Linkody provides a quick way to do so using a simple form.

## How it works

When selecting **“Add multiple links”**, you’ll see a text area where you can enter multiple referring page URLs (one per line).

You can enter up to **5000** URLs at once. If you need to enter more than 5000 URLs, use the [CSV import](/content/helpcenter/en/articles/11070203-importing-links-via-csv/index.html).

## Prospect link option

Like with single links, you can choose to mark these links as **prospects** by toggling the prospect switch.

This applies the **Candidate** status by default to all added links (other statuses are only available when adding one link at a time).

## Optional fields

You can define these optional values for all the links you're adding:

- **Tags** – Add labels to organize or categorize the links  
- **Notes** – Add context or comments that apply to all the links  
- **Report status changes** – Enabled by default; disable this if you don’t want email alerts when the link status changes

These values will be applied to **all** the links being added.

## Important notes

- You can’t specify individual landing pages, anchors, or follow/nofollow expectations with this method. If you need to do that, use the **CSV import** instead.
- If you add links from the **same referring page to different target pages**, use the **single link** method for each one to define the expected landing page.
